OUR PURPOSE
We Exist To Make Disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19)
God Is Molding Us
Vineyard Monrovia exists to make disciples. We recognize as a Church we cannot do that alone. We need the shaping and molding of the Holy Spirit upon our hearts daily. This is why God speaks “…You are like the clay in the potter’s hands, and I am the potter” (Jeremiah 18:6). As you gather with us in worship we believe He will continue the process of healing, transforming and empowering your life so you can experience a life of joy, peace and love!
A Few Of Our Distinctives
The main and the plain.
John Wimber would always look back to what the Scriptures say, right on the page. We base everything we do on the “main and the plain” teaching that Jesus gave.
Everyone gets to play.
We believe that anyone can do the work of the Kingdom. We don’t have an elite or superstar leaders – we are all commissioned – men and women, children, of every background.
Remember the poor.
We lean toward the lost, the poor, the outcast, and the outsider with the compassion of Jesus. We are all in need, in some way.

“Be still and know he is God” – Psalm 46:10.
*This six-week class offers a place of refuge to slow
down and listen deeply, allowing the noise around us —and within in us — to
subside. Together, we’ll explore life-giving spiritual practices for
mindful awareness that will help us to attune our hearts and minds to
the still small voice of the Spirit of God. This opens pathways to deeper
relationship with God — to hearing His voice and being heard; to knowing
and being known. *
Uninvited for women – Friday at 10 am
Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely
In this six-session video Bible study, Lysa TerKeurst digs deep into God’s Word to help you explore the roots of rejection, the way other relationships get tainted because of a past rejection, and the truth about what it looks like to live loved. With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa will take you on a visual journey in the Holy Land to some of the places where people of the Bible such as Hannah, David, and even Jesus lived and walked.
